Two Missouri homeowners were looking to update their split-level home and get rid of some rotted panel siding. They knew that Smart Exteriors was a reputable contractor in the area, and some Googling confirmed that we were indeed an excellent contractor to work with, so they gave us a call.
To start, we met with the customers to get a good understanding of what the homeowners wanted. Once that initial meeting took place, we created a detailed 3D rendering to show them what the project would look like when it was done and answered any questions they had about what would happen during the renovation. Once the details were agreed upon, work began.
The home was built in 1976, so it had some dated cedar shake siding on the front and rotting panel siding on the sides and back. We removed all of the rotted material and installed James Hardie fiber cement lap siding in Khaki Brown with Arctic White trim. We also removed rotten panels and replaced them with OSB before installing the new siding.
This project was a breeze from start to finish. The homeowners were confident in choosing us to do their siding replacement project, the details of the job went off without a hitch, and the homeowners were thrilled with the results.
