We employ a systematic approach to removing your old roof that involves first stripping everything down to the roof deck before conducting a thorough inspection and handling any necessary repairs. This ensures that your new roof is attached to a sound deck for a long-lasting roof that won’t leak.
Next, several layers of protection are attached to the deck to regulate moisture. Most roofing contractors only put a 5 year warranty on their jobs because they know after 5-6 years the flashing around the plumbing pipes is susceptible to leaks. We want your roof to last, so we put two rubber gaskets and double flashing around the pipes to ensure they’re protected from tearing and sun damage.
Then, starter strips are laid out before the shingles are nailed to the roof. A powerful adhesive also goes to work to prevent blow-off even during strong storms. Finally, vents are installed, and your roof is outfitted with decorative cap shingles. The final product is an incredibly durable roof that will protect your home for years to come.
